Testimonial "It is a very useful tool in preparing for the exam but shouldn't be solely relied upon. The sample problems and handouts the professors provide are extremely helpful. " |

| Description The Fundamentals of Engineering (FE/EIT) Exam is the first of two exams every engineer must pass to become a Professional Engineer. This course will prepare you to take the exam, through a brief review of the materials and followed by intensive working of problems similar to those encountered on the exam. The FE examination is an eight hour exam with 120 questions in the morning and 60 questions in the afternoon sessions. The morning session is common to all disciplines. The afternoon session is in the following disciplines: chemical, civil, electrical, industrial, and mechanical with a general engineering section for all remaining disciplines. Prior to the course, we suggest you download a free copy of NCEES handbook http://www.ncees.org/exams/study_materials/fe_handbook/ This handbook is referenced during the course for knowledgeable use of the reference during the course. A hard copy of this document is also distributed for use at the testing site for use during the exam. |
